We are looking for a Baker who loves being at the heart of the action to join our Bakery team. Our Bakers help stock world-class food halls and restaurants with mesmerizing breads and viennoiserie, baked fresh on site daily. You will work at Chef de Partie level or above and bring extensive artisanal baking experience, including sourdough and laminated products. You will organise ingredients, support senior chefs and the team, and help ensure smooth daily operations while upholding high standards of hygiene and Food Safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patisserie, breads and baked goods; organise ingredients and keep the kitchen clean.
  • Act as a vital part of the bakery team to ensure smooth running of a section and provide support to senior chefs and other team members.
  • Provide direction and support to the team to deliver day-to-day operational requirements.
  • Assist management in planning and forecasting stock and orders; support organisation, stock rotation and labelling of stored food.
  • Uphold Food Safety standards and enforce high hygiene and sanitation across all food-related outlets.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional baker with time spent at Chef de Partie level or above.
  • Extensive experience with artisanal baking techniques, including sourdough and laminated products.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for food and drink.
  • Excellent time-management, customer focus, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and ability to coach, inspire and motivate the team.
  • Good PC literacy.
