Here at Harrods, we currently house more celebrity chefs, exclusive dining brands and unique food halls than any other location in the UK. As a Chef De Partie, you will be joining a passionate, supportive, and successful restaurant team, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.

About the Role

As a Chef De Partie, your role is to act as a vital part of the team by ensuring the smooth running of a section and providing support to the Sous Chef and other team members. In this role, you’ll actively provide direction and support to the team to deliver the operational requirements of the day as needed. You’ll assist the management in planning and forecasting of stock and orders, also supporting with the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food stored. You’ll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing the high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all food-related outlets.

About You

You’ll have previous experience within a professional kitchen, with a strong track record of time spent within a prestigious 5* hotel or high-end restaurant. You’ll also be confident working on all sections of the main kitchen, and be able to supervise the junior cooks in your area. You’ll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties. You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. Having good PC literacy is a must.
