We are looking for Cleaning Operatives where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that every customer enjoys a pristine and welcoming experience at our store.
About the Role
As a Cleaning Operative, you will be an essential member of the Harrods team, ensuring that our cleaning and waste standards are maintained at the highest level. You will take pride in every task, from keeping the shop floor spotless to handling emergencies with minimum disruption to our customers. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude, you'll ensure that both public and back-of-house areas are always clean, safe, and inviting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling, transporting, and storing cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Performing regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing.
- Addressing spills, stains, and emergency situations (floods, incidents) promptly.
- Keeping washrooms clean, well-stocked, and hygienic at all times.
- Maintaining a safe and organized cleaning cupboard and managing stock levels.
We are recruiting for full-time, Night Shift 8pm - 5am.
About You
You are hardworking, detail-oriented, and take pride in ensuring a space is impeccably clean.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
