We are looking for a Workday consultant to join our Workday team here at Harrods. You will be responsible for the functionality of Workday, covering multiple modules within the Workday platform, with the ability to specialise and take a lead role in certain modules as required.
As the Workday consultant, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert for Workday functionality and business processes in specified domains. You will work in both BAU and across projects, and this role is strongly customer led, so you must have the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, and take business problems and design intuitive, customer focused solutions with the user experience at the forefront of design.
This role will also conduct business process analysis and recommend best practices for system configurations and process improvements based on Workday capabilities. You will configure and customise Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, Absence Management, Learning and Performance. Additionally, you will develop and execute test plans, conduct system testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of system implementations.
You will have previous Workday experience across BAU and project work. You’ll need strong expertise in Core HCM and Compensation, including having built compensation plans, benefit plans, and Workday pay and bonus review processes. Experience owning Benefits, plus solid knowledge of Absence Management, is essential.
You should bring strong analytical skills, the ability to translate business needs into system solutions, and confidence partnering with senior HR stakeholders. Experience across multiple Workday implementations, along with the ability to map processes and identify improvements, will be highly valued. We’re seeking someone proactive, improvement-focused, able to manage multiple deadlines, and a collaborative team player. Job architecture experience is a bonus.
Harrods is one of the world’s leading luxury department stores and we’re becoming a destination for top designers, and the most sought-after brands from around the globe. Our combined mission is to make visiting our iconic Knightsbridge store one of the world’s most inspiring shopping experiences.
