Our Supply Chain team are now looking for a Supply Chain Training Manager to elevate the way we build capability and support system adoption across our operation. This role sits at the heart of our growing Centre of Excellence, helping colleagues, suppliers, and partners feel confident and equipped when working with our systems and processes. This role is primarily based in our Hammersmith Head office.
About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for driving the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training across key Supply Chain systems, including SAP S4HANA, the Supplier Portal, and our Digital Freight Forwarding solution. Working closely with Supply Chain, Distribution, Buying, Merchandising, Retail, Finance, and Imports, you will ensure our colleagues and suppliers have the capability and confidence to adopt new systems and embed consistent ways of working. You will report into the Supplier Engagement Manager, collaborating closely with operational and functional teams to build structured learning pathways, improve onboarding, and strengthen adoption across our end‑to‑end supply chain. You will also play a key role in identifying performance trends, resolving knowledge gaps, improving supplier compliance, and supporting change management activities across Supply Chain projects.
In this role you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of training across core Supply Chain systems and platforms, including SAP S4HANA, Supplier Portal, Loftware, and Digital Freight Forwarding tools.
- Identify trends in process failures and supplier issues, implementing targeted learning solutions to improve compliance and reduce document failures.
- Improve onboarding processes by creating consistent training, digital modules, and user guidance to reduce time‑to‑competency.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date training materials aligned to agreed processes and standards.
- Develop clear learning pathways to help colleagues understand how their roles connect to wider end‑to‑end supply chain activity.
- Apply practical change management principles to ensure new systems and processes are adopted smoothly and effectively.
- Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising on supplier‑facing training to improve stock accuracy and availability.
- Support the Supply Chain Graduate Programme through structured placements with defined objectives.
- Track and report on KPIs relating to training effectiveness, onboarding performance, and capability uplift.
- Champion continuous improvement and support teams to confidently self‑serve within Supply Chain systems.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on‑site or have a mix of on‑site and home working. This is what we refer to as Hybrid. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on‑site depending on business needs.
About You
You will be an engaging, confident, and collaborative individual who is passionate about building capability and improving ways of working. You will be comfortable presenting to suppliers and senior stakeholders, able to translate complex processes into clear training, and confident leading training without direction. You will bring experience in designing and delivering training and ideally have worked with SAP or a similar ERP system. You will also be someone who enjoys building structure from the ground up, improving consistency, and shaping the long‑term capability strategy within Supply Chain.
You will:
- Bring proven experience in delivering training within a business environment.
- Be confident presenting to suppliers, colleagues, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Have experience with SAP or similar ERP systems such as Oracle or Salesforce.
- Be comfortable building processes, content, and structure from scratch.
- Be naturally curious, proactive, and able to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Be confident working both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience with SAP S4HANA.
- Exposure to change management practices such as Prosci or APMG.
- Experience working within a Centre of Excellence or capability‑focused environment.
