Harrods is looking for an SEO Assistant to support our Adaptive Search team in delivering impactful strategies that enhance visibility and strengthen Harrods' position as a leader in luxury on a Fixed term basis. Reporting to the SEO Executive, you'll help execute key SEO initiatives, monitor performance, and adapt to evolving customer search behaviours across multiple platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative team and make meaningful contributions to our business goals. This will be a Fixed Term Contract until August 2026.
As an SEO Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the SEO Executive and the Adaptive Search team to deliver innovative strategies that enhance Harrods' visibility and authority across multiple platforms. This position involves handsâon execution of SEO initiatives, monitoring performance, and adapting to evolving search behaviours to drive business goals. You'll work closely with crossâfunctional teams, leveraging AI tools, data insights, and industry best practices to optimise content and improve search performance. - Assist with implementing the Adaptive Search strategy and roadmap, ensuring timely execution of initiatives.
- Write, upload, and optimise metadata across priority categories, using AI tools to scale efficiently.
- Conduct keyword research and manage content briefs for conversational and topical content.
- Support technical SEO tasks, including monitoring website health, raising tickets, and testing improvements.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to optimise for Answer Engines, Voice Search, and social search platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
You're passionate about SEO and eager to grow your expertise in Adaptive Search and Digital Marketing. With a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and a proactive, detailâoriented approach, you thrive in a fastâpaced environment and enjoy collaborating with others to achieve shared goals. You're highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, and have excellent communication and analytical skills, particularly in Excel. Your curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI and LLMs, drives you to stay ahead of industry trends and continuously learn.
