We use our patented technology to be able to create the thinnest spring on the market. Due to expansion within our team at our Wire Drawing site in Scunthorpe, we are recruiting for Wire Drawers to join the team.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday: 4 x 12hr DAYS followed by Monday - Thursday 4 x 12hr NIGHTS

The Wire Drawer will ensure efficient daily running of the wire drawing lines and general housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify the correct specification sheets from the production orders.
- Select and build the correct drawing die sets and complete size-changes.
- Set-up machine in line with wire specification.
- Monitor cooling and drawing products to maximise efficiency.
- Inspect product to ensure conformance to specification and quality requirements throughout each stage of the process.
- Ability to monitor product quality and adjust/maintain equipment to achieve specification requirements.
- Always maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Skills & Experience required:
- Previous experience of manufacturing/process line operation (experience of wire drawing desirable).
- The ability to troubleshoot, maintain and make minor repairs to wire drawing equipment.
- Good communication skills.
- Self-motivated & able to work under pressure.
- Committed a passion to achieve set targets.
- A good team player able to build stable working relationships quickly & effectively.
