We are seeking a Quality Control Team Leader within our Beds division based at our manufacturing site in Beeston, Leeds. Reporting to the Beds Quality Control Manager, the Team Leader will lead the quality function on-site, to ensure that all products are produced to a defined level of quality set by yourself and the leadership team, ensuring that all processes comply with documented requirements, systems and specifications to maintain the highest possible quality on a \’right first time\’ objective. Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6am 4pm (39 hours) Key Responsibilities: Working with the QA and QC manager to ensure compliance to relevant regulatory requirements. Supervise and lead the Quality control team to ensure all products are produced to a defined level of Quality set by yourself and the leadership team. Working in conjunction with department Supervisors and Managers to drive continuous improvement projects to improve product quality and consistency. Working in conjunction with the goods in team to ensure incoming good checks meet specification. Ensuring products are manufactured according to the specified requirements by carrying out audits and cross-referencing specifications to ensure products are manufactured correctly. Identify and record any problems relating to the product or process, maintain accurate register, document, analyse and make recommendations for improvements. Provide leadership and support on the facilitation of quality control processes and best practices to all operatives. Prepare quality and waste reports to review at the daily and weekly KPI meetings. Support improvements and develop measures to reduce site returns and customer credits. Create, deliver and store toolbox talks relating to Quality to the operations teams. NCR/8D process provide support for analysis of non-conforming product and components and raise awareness through action logs. Identify and address recurring quality issues.
