We are seeking a Production Operative to join our team at our Farm in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.
Reporting into the Hemp Processing Production Manager, the Production Operative will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the Hemp Line throughout the day, including machine operation.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6am 4pm (39 hours)
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure machines are running to full potential using available resources.
- To ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and risks assessed.
- In the event of a breakdown, diagnose the problem and rectify using available resources, for example,working collaboratively with production operatives or calling a Company electrician /maintenance operative for assistance.
- During breakdown periods, support the Hemp Line Leader and find alternative work for the duration of the shift.
- At the end of a shift, ensure all machines are set up for the next shift, including emptying skips and cleaning.
- Ensure cleaning is carried out satisfactorily.
- Ensure housekeeping is kept to the correct standard throughout the shift.
- Complete planned maintenance report form.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by Hemp line Production Manager.

- FLT licence preferable.
