We are looking for a reliable, professional and safety-focused HGV Class 2 Driver to support our growing operation.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in representing the business on the road, delivers excellent customer service, and maintains high standards at all times.
Hours: Monday - Friday based on a 45-hour week
Reporting into the Transport and Warehouse Manager, y ou will play a key part in delivering our finished products to a wide range of businesses across the UK.
The role involves both driving and general support within the warehouse when required, offering variety and a chance to work closely with our wider operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Safe & efficient driving in full compliance with UK road laws.
Professional representation of the company at all times - youll often be the face of our business.
Accurate paperwork and timely completion of delivery documentation.
Product delivery to a variety of commercial customers.
Route planning to ensure timely and efficient journeys.
Vehicle checks - ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy, clean and compliant.
Customer satisfaction on every job you undertake.
Issue reporting to your manager and Customer Services.
Overnight stays between 2-4 nights per week.
Warehouse support when required.
Electronic POD system usage for all deliveries.
Key Skills & Experience
HGV Class 2 Licence and previous HGV driving experience.
Strong literacy skills.
Manual handling capability.
Clear communication skills.
Licence criteria - up to 6 points accepted, excluding DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
Flexible & enthusiastic approach.
Strong self-management throughout the working day.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent timekeeping.
