We are recruiting 2 x Quality Control Operatives to join our Quality Team based in Beeston, Leeds. The Quality Control Operatives will provide a proactive and methodical approach to resolving production issues, ensuring all products are manufactured in accordance with defined quality standards, approved materials, and agreed specifications.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor quality of products within different departments of the beds business to ensure all quality standards and procedures are being correctly adhered to.
- Working towards achieving a 98% right first-time target across all production functions and pushing for higher.
- Identify, record, and report defects or non-conformances in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all quality documents are maintained to a high standard.
- Promote continuous improvement by conducting root-cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Making quality part of our values by creating a positive quality driven culture.
- Provide all operatives and line managers with quality and technical support.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Methodical approach.
- Effective communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with production teams.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality-related role is beneficial but not always essential.
- Knowledge of quality control tools, inspection methods, or ISO standards is an advantage.
- Basic IT skills for completing digital records and reports.
