We are recruiting for a Machine Operative on the Nightswithin Unit 6, Beeston Leeds.
Hours of Work: 40 hours Monday-Thursday, 2 x 12hr + 2 x 8hr (4 Nights)
The Machine Operative will pr oduce the necessary spring sheets and Micro coil units for the next production stage as requested by the department Manager/production planner.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow daily production instructions and run the correct required springs.
Monitor raw materials and request as required from the department Manager.
Monitor quality of products; ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, feed back to the Manager.
Changing cloth and wire.
Complete Quality checks to agreed tolerances.
Monitor machine output.
General upkeep of the Coilers.
Checking wire and reject wire correctly.
Skills & Experience required:
Machine experience preferred but not essential.
Self-motivated
The ability to stand, walk and move for up to 8 hours per day.
Team player.
Dexterity
Good communication and organizational skills
Attention to detail and the ability to think clearly and work under pressure.
