The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

A provider of creative design services, product manufacturing and print is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled manager to be the driving force of a team of energetic professionals within the Production department. They manufacture products in-house using state of the art printers and experienced finishers, to assure that customers receive the highest quality of product and service.

As production manager, you will be expected to manage a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • supervision of staff
  • driving productivity
  • driving lean manufacturing processes
  • cost control of labour, resources and consumables
  • scheduling of work
  • staff appraisal

Communication skills are key for this role, as you must efficiently liaise with customers, and with the Account Management department to relay the fine details to Production staff, producing the highest quality product on budget, and on time. You will be expected to control, organise, and monitor the flow of materials.

The successful candidate must take initiative, be a confident decision maker, and take an accurate and methodological approach to all projects in hand. You will show excellent organisational skills along with the ability to prioritise work.

Applicants with a background in display graphics will be highly preferential, in order to bring a wealth of experience to the team, however candidates from other sectors will be considered if Production Management experience is strong.
