They are seeking a commercially aware Account Director to drive and manage the client relationship with a major FMCG client, ensuring delivery of their requests on time and within quality standards. This involves providing direction on innovation, value add and value engineering projects with a focus on commercial targets, leading review forums, presenting data reports, and coordinating with procurement and marketing contacts while managing a team of account managers.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for commercially driving and managing the client relationship with a major FMCG client.
- Act as the key contact for the client and ensure OTIF delivery.
- Provide direction on innovation, value add and value engineering projects.
- Lead regular review forums and present data reports.
- Liaise with procurement and marketing contacts.
- Manage a team to ensure timely, full delivery of projects.
- Develop and deliver client growth strategies to increase breadth and depth of client relationships using available services and resources.
- Promote understanding of client values to consistently deliver outstanding service.
- Drive value and gross margin growth and manage sales with all clients.
Qualifications
- Significant experience as an Account Director and 3D Point of Sale.
- Experience leading a team in multiple locations (3–4 account managers).
- Excellent commercial awareness and ability to think strategically and identify innovative opportunities.
