Responsibilities
- Deliver the level of service and support desired by all stakeholders.
- Provide advice, support and guidance to Sales, CRM's and Directors in pre-sales scenarios – including demonstrations and technical solution dialogue with prospects and clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert, where appropriate, and use business understanding to conceptualise innovative solutions during the pre-sales stage of the sales cycle.
- Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which solution requirements flow.
- Collaborate with the software development team and subject matter experts to establish the technical strategy needed to meet the vision, core purpose and objectives of the organisation.
- Lead the technical development of solutions delivered through our client's solutions suite.
- Capture client requirements using interviews, document analysis, technical workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Evaluate information gathered from the above sources to 'join the dots' between what is and what can be.
- Recommend, through audit output presentation (written and verbal), the strategic road map needed to transform customer communications.
- Contribute to tender response process for Group Sales.
- Complete regular management reports for all project work in line with team objectives.
- Continually seek opportunities to demonstrate and set the example for our client's vision, core values and purpose.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in the document management industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital services including SMS, email, social media and web portal solutions.
- Experience of delivering document-centric solutions within the Health, Financial Services, Insurance and/or Local Government markets is desirable.
- Extensive experience of business analysis including Business Process Re-Engineering.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication with the ability to outline complex propositions in layman's terms.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the associated ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organisation, clients, partners, and suppliers alike.
- Ability to schedule tasks and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.
- Practical experience of workflow analysis with demonstrable skills in Business Process Engineering to deliver innovative solutions, preferably with experience of working within a business transformation team in a BA or operational role.
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Understanding of competitive products within the digital print/customer communications arena.
