Skill in negotiation and the creation of new relationships
Strong verbal communication skills
To meet and manage Sales targets.
To manage and co-ordinate new business calls for the best effect of acquiring a new account for the company.
Job Purpose:-
To create new business acquisition and development.
Support the existing Sales team.
Assist in quotations, pricing and query resolution.
To develop excellent connections & build relationships with new clients at a
variety of different levels.
Report directly to the Sales Director and New Business Development Director
(NBDD)
Working within the Sales Team
Regular contact with all departments
Focus on new business development with an annualised sales target rising incrementally
year on year.
This position is created for continual new business focus therefore all accounts will be
handed to the organic or contract team once implementation is completed.
Core tasks include:-
To attain the team’s KPI’s
New business phone calls under the guidance of NBDD
Estimating
Achieving Orders target
Providing holiday cover within the Sales Team where applicable
Financial Dimensions:
Meet new business team sales targets.
Decision Making Authority:-
Identification of key prospects and ongoing maintenance of rolling potentials list.
Full training and support to be given.
Qualifications / Work Experience:-
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
Strong basic Maths and English to GCSE level or equivalent ability
Although not essential, the following competencies will be significantly beneficial:-
Current work experience including use of XL and Word to perform daily
duties
Permanent, full time position.
Hours: 8.30-5.30pm, with an hour for lunch.
Salary and commission scheme details will be discussed with applicants.
NEST pension scheme available
