Position Overview:
As the Technical Director , you will drive the companyβs digital transformation journey, implementing cutting-edge technologies to enhance operational efficiency and optimise workflows. You will oversee the integration of digital systems into existing infrastructure, transforming how the company manages printing processes, production, and customer interactions. Your role will be pivotal in improving workflows, automating manual processes, and utilising data to ensure streamlined operations and superior product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the digital transformation strategy for the company, introducing and integrating new technologies that improve the printing workflow.
- Oversee the implementation of end-to-end digital systems, from design to delivery, to optimise and automate production processes.
- Drive workflow optimisation initiatives that reduce costs, improve quality, and accelerate time-to-market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, design, and deploy digital workflows, ensuring they meet both customer and operational needs.
- Identify and implement solutions that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve the overall customer experience.
- Ensure smooth integration between digital platforms and the production floor.
- Champion the use of data analytics to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements in the production and delivery cycle.
- Manage the technology stack for workflow automation, including software and hardware solutions tailored to the printing industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and industry partners, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of digital printing innovations.
- Lead the digital training initiatives for staff, ensuring the team is equipped with the knowledge and tools to leverage new systems.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of new digital solutions and workflows to ensure continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain data security protocols for all digital operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in the printing industry with a focus on digital transformation, workflow management, or process automation.
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing end-to-end automated workflows within the printing or manufacturing sectors.
- In-depth understanding of digital print technologies, workflow management systems, and related platforms such as MIS, and CRM systems.
- Strong expertise in integrating digital technologies into production workflows.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in the implementation of digital solutions.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, automation solutions, and emerging technologies relevant to the print industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to drive change and lead teams through complex digital transformation processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
