Our client has long been linked with the highest levels of quality and customer service in print services. They are looking to expand their award‑winning client services team through the appointment of a Customer Services Representative.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely estimates to fulfil client briefs.
  • Ensure specifications are clearly understood prior to quoting.
  • Liaise with Account Managers and Clients to clarify requirements as necessary.
  • Obtain prices from suppliers for outside work to be included in estimates, e.g., for finishing to obtain the most competitive price.
  • Fully utilise estimating and production software.
  • Book jobs for printing, ensuring accurate job instructions.
  • Prepare client files for print and obtain proof approval.
  • Ensure jobs are produced in the most economical way.
  • Ensure the job production schedule is adhered to and deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with sub contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.
  • Respond to customer queries.
  • Ensure value production options are explored for clients.
  • Liaise closely with Account Managers and clients, ensuring optimum conversion rates.
  • Contribute positively to the effectiveness of the team.
  • Maintain close contact with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Contribute to the overall effective and smooth running of the company.
  • Carry out other tasks as required by the Customer Services Manager.

Qualifications

This role requires an organised individual with strong time‑management skills and a keen eye for detail. Applicants should be resident in the UK and have recently worked in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
