Our client has made high capital investments over the last 18 months, and is now looking to appoint a new managing director to take the business to the next stage. The owner has other business which he wishes to focus on, so the new Managing Director will join with a view of consolidating this already successful enterprise.
Exciting growth plans consist of exploring new revenue streams to maximise productivity of new machinery. One area they have taken a leap of faith into is tray forming/nesting. Turning a die cut sheet into an open-top box by gluing side panels and moulding it with a forme, the company has the capacity to experience incredible success servicing the food industry with this offering.
Ideally, their future Managing Director will be someone who understands this market extremely well, however candidates from all areas of packaging will be considered. The main criteria is finding someone who is ambitious, having the drive and determination to be an integral part of its long-term success. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to think ahead, establishing efficient and appropriate courses of action; and prioritise and plan activities considering relevant factors. You must be ready to take the initiative, originate action and be responsible for the consequences of your decisions made.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for removing obstacles, solving problems and making sure things get done.
