Role Function:
- Develop sales of products and services for the company to customers, through inbound and outbound calls whilst supporting Field sales in developing their customer portfolio.
The successful candidate will:
- Interact with Field sales and contribute towards customer action plans to improve customer satisfaction, increase market share, increase profitability and target prospective customers.
- Pro-actively sell products/services and target new business with an emphasis on non-core products.
- Maximise customer sales by offering added value options in pricing, services and product diversity.
- Gather and maintain information, identify business opportunities and understand customer needs to generate further sales.
Skills and knowledge:
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Excellent customer service and selling skills with an ability to cold call.
- Basic knowledge of Papers an advantage.
- Basic IT skills.
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written English.
- Active attitude, ability to analyse information, take initiatives and make decisions.
- Ability to perform many different tasks simultaneously under time pressure.
- Good team player.
- Working on computerised stock control systems, managing stock levels, invoicing, credit control, weekly and monthly figures, customer diary and information on balances etc.
- Maintaining good customer relations.
- Adaptable, relish new creative challenges & a variety of tasks.
- Ability to learn quickly and work on own initiative.
