Our client is a specialist, premium brand supplier for print, post and e-delivery solutions, and is currently seeking a Scheduler to join its Operations team, with the primary aim of meeting product due dates and achieving maximum throughput from the production system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly processing schedules for a three-shift operation.
  • Liaises with Operations regarding scheduling conflicts or issues.
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality.
  • Liaises with Client Services on inbound work.
  • Ensures that staffing levels are sufficient for the workload on the working shift in conjunction with the Shift Manager.
  • Maximises efficiency driven by the schedule in production ensuring expectations are achieved.
  • Constantly plans all warehouse resources and activities in relation to the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
  • Conducts demand planning and forecasting, coordinating the demand forecast of all customers and sharing the forecast with all internal and external suppliers.
  • Planned resource allocation, including current stock inventory and forecast demand, in collaboration with all suppliers.
  • Responds in real time to disruptions.
