The Managing Director of a highly successful West Country printing house is looking to retire, so he is looking for someone with a strong print sales background to learn the ropes of the business while heading up the sales team and continuing to bring in new business.

A perfect time to join the company, as they will be shortly introducing an equity scheme, meaning you will benefit from this as well as a highly competitive annual salary and other director level benefits.

This role requires a natural leader – someone who commands the respect of fellow senior managers, as well as subordinates. Exuding charisma, the chosen candidate will make a lasting impression on everyone met, and will build deep-rooted relationships both internally and externally. Candidates will also have an exemplary track record of developing performing sales teams as you will be required to nurture the sales team; reviewing strategies, systems and performance management criteria.

With a passion for the industry, you will use your strong sector and customer insight to develop new and existing markets. Working in partnership with the executive board, you will deliver business objectives in line with company ethics. They are looking for a commercially minded individual with the gravitas and intellect to add real value to the senior team and make a real contribution to the company’s long term success.
