Job Description:
Our client, a highly successful operator in their sector, is looking to recruit two Production Planners / Schedulers, one in Bristol, the other in Manchester. The successful applicants will be responsible for the planning and smooth running of the production process, meeting both internal and external customer expectations, and ensuring all jobs are managed within the agreed timescales and commercials, escalating failures internally as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Work within an existing commercial / production team
- Assist/Run daily production meetings
- Plan daily production schedules to meet customer requirements
- Liaise with internal sales team for scheduling and planning
- Liaise with internal departmental heads to maintain schedule
- Manage all internal customer expectations regarding production
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in print or packaging
- Experience in MIS / Electronic planning
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Commercial exposure and experience
