Our client is undergoing a significant rise in sales of Paper Packaging and therefore requires a skilled and experienced Production Operator to carry out various tasks in their expanding production area.
The ideal candidate will have some mechanical experience, excellent communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude.
The role will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to supervisors.
They will consider candidates both with Paper Bag Machinery experience, and those from a Flexo Print background – Narrow or Wide Web – who are willing to be trained up in their Triumph 3 MR Block bottom bag machinery which includes a 4 colour flexo inline printing station.
Currently shifts are over 5 days / 24 hours – with a requirement to be flexible with working hours/shifts that will eventually roll out to a 7 day operation as sales increase within Paper Packaging.
