Our client is one of Europe’s fastest growing print businesses delivering uniquely memorable experiences for brands and consumers every day. Over multi-site operations they have Digital, Litho and Wide Format production with all associated data, pre-press, finishing and logistics.
We are tasked with finding a forward-thinking print production expert. The Production Director will be expected to drive and develop all print production operations, adopting best practice in all areas to enhance the customer experience, drive efficiency and enable new product opportunities. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Production Director will work in close collaboration with fellow directors from Technology, Ecommerce, Commercial and Marketing to help drive the organisation’s client-facing products towards continued growth and improve internal systems.
The Production Director will lead a team of departmental managers and production staff across Job Management, Pre-Press, Digital Printing, Offset Printing, Finishing, Bindery, Fulfilment, Stock and Delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Inspire and develop our client’s talent.
- Lead the team daily with a pragmatic determination to complete and finish projects to plan and KPI.
- Remove issues completely rather than manage them daily by engineering or development of solutions, including lean process, machinery, MIS, workflow, bespoke software, training, personal development or recruitment.
- Collaborate closely with the business and customers to understand overall market requirements and translate strategic and product priorities into robust production solutions.
- Develop and manage relationships with equipment, technology and supply-chain partners.
- Provide a production solution product which internal and external customers trust and enjoy.
