Overview
A large print and packaging group with offices in West Yorkshire is looking for a buyer to not only purchase outside work but also other products for the business. Candidates can either be in a role dedicated to buying or in production control which incorporates an element of buying.
Responsibilities
- Leverage industry knowledge and networking skills to build supplier relationships and manage contracts with key suppliers.
- Negotiate to ensure all materials are purchased at the most competitive price, and that delivery, quality and service meet required standards for all projects.
- Work closely with sales, product marketing, design and production teams.
- Organise end‑to‑end associated administration.
