Our client is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to become an integral part of their production team. Key Responsibilities
- You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining specialist finishing equipment, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest possible standard.
- Working from production specifications, you’ll oversee the entire finishing process, achieving production targets whilst maintaining exceptional levels of quality and consistency.
- This is a hands‑on role where you’ll lead and support Finishing Assistants throughout each production run, helping to maximise machine performance, minimise downtime and ensure customer deadlines are consistently achieved.
- You’ll also carry out first‑line fault finding, complete production documentation accurately, undertake routine operator maintenance and play an active role in driving continuous improvement across the department.
Required Skills & Experience
- We’re looking for someone who has previous experience operating print‑finishing machinery.
- You’ll have a keen eye for detail, take real pride in the quality of your work, and possess the confidence to make decisions on the production floor.
- Strong communication skills, good organisational ability and experience leading or mentoring colleagues will all be highly valued.
