Our client is a manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions for the food and food‑to‑go markets, offering a comprehensive range of off‑the‑shelf or bespoke printed packaging products made from sustainably sourced materials. This leading specialist packaging company is looking for a Cost Accountant who will report directly to the site manager and will be responsible for managing all cost accounting of its production site. This company has aggressive plans to develop the business, so is looking for a high‑potential candidate who has the opportunity to continue to grow with the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Product creation and product costing
- Estimates of bespoke jobs and pricing
- Manufacturing performance reporting and analysis of gaps
- Profitability reporting and analysis
- Production capacity reporting and analysis
Profile:
- You have a minimum of 5 years of successful experience managing costs of operations in the food service packaging industry or in the printing and packaging industry.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to manage a large amount of information.
- Knowledge of Shuttleworth software and/or SAP is an asset.
- Strong skills at data extracting and reporting.
- You have a financial degree.
- A good knowledge of the industry is a real plus.
