Our Client is a Specialist International Packaging Manufacturer looking to appoint an ambitious Sales Professional who seeks to build a long lasting career with them.
The role will be best suited to someone with experience in both Account Management and Business Development within Paper and Plastics FMCG Packaging for the Food & Retail sectors. Highly advantageous would be a track record within markets such as: Leading Grocery Retailers, Fast Food Chains, Plant Bakeries, Distributors and Consolidators.
The role will require the ability to regularly be onsite at the Client’s premises in Staffordshire when not visiting Clients. As guidance: The role will be a mix of c.60% account management and c.40% NBD – but would vary week to week. The account values to be looked after would range from several £100ks to low £Ms.
This is an exciting time to join our Client as they experience a period of major growth and capital investment. This position is being created as part of the company’s succession planning and to add to the existing Sales Team as the company expands and looks to increase capacity with additional Paper Packaging Machinery.
The company currently produces c.15m items of Packaging per week – in addition to this the company also outsources packaging globally; equating to an additional c.£10m pa of their business revenue. With their manufacturing site in the UK, equipment includes 10 German/French machines making SOS, SOS Die cut, F&S, F&S strip window bags all with inline printing: 4-6 colours.
As an example of continued investment, another bag machine will be arriving in late Spring to add to 3 machines for making fast food ‘grab bags’ and paper tape handles. Further investments are planned, the Company has the factory space allowing further development in order to increase capacity to meet growing demand.
