This exciting opportunity reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will predominantly involve working on site at the Company’s Offices in North Staffordshire.
Overview of Role: The role requires analytical research to gain valuable insights into the current marketplace to support the development and growth of the Company’s UK operation. The successful candidate will need to be conversant with CRM tools, market research techniques, and campaign tools to fulfil the requirements of the role. The post holder will work as part of the Marketing Team and will work closely with the wider Sales and business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to fully understand the business landscape of the Company, portfolio, customers, competitors, growth, drivers and threats to the business.
- Monitor and forecast business marketing and sales trends to shape up existing portfolio where needed including seeking new business opportunities.
- Research and present on assigned industries or companies.
- Collecting data of targeted customers, competitors and market conditions.
- Assimilating data for further use in market penetration of existing business or market development of new business.
- Mapping internal resources and capabilities with the collected, analysed data or any market studies to capture more business.
- Making recommendations based on the data collected for targeted market segment or geography.
- Assist in the production of market plans with clear target market and execution plans with promising or projected outcomes.
Experience/Competence:
- Ability to comprehend and interpret and simplify complex information into a user friendly format.
- Solid organisational skills and detail orientated.
- Research experience and ability to develop and present insightful reports.
- Presenting presentations both online and face to face with confidence at senior management and Board level.
- Experience and knowledge of the sales process and how marketing supports the sales function.
- Commercially astute with marketing or business-related degree or professional qualifications and experience would be beneficial.
