What You’ll be doing:

  • As a maintenance engineer you will be required to carry out various planned, reactive and proactive maintenance tasks.
  • The main objective of this role is to support the overall function of the machinery/equipment and building; identifying faults and solutions alike.
  • You will be responsible for:
  • Performing maintenance and support tasks on high speed automated equipment.
  • Completing tasks that require both mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Working as part of a team supporting the production and operations.
  • Implementing solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality issues.
  • Maintaining an adequate supply of spare parts.
  • Contributing to the upgrade, service and installation of all new and existing equipment.
  • Ensuring engineering compliance with company, site and statutory health and safety policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Ensuring effective communication with all team members.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the planned maintenance system.
  • Maintaining the engineering needs of the plant in line with the needs of the business.

The skills and experience you’ll bring to our client:

  • An in depth knowledge of Mechanical, pneumatic and electronics.
  • Strong analytical skills supporting fast and effective problem solving.
  • Able to demonstrate a proven ability in trouble shooting and recovering equipment in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Electrical biased with mechanical experience.

You will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday on the following pattern: 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs.

You will undertake a brief period of training at the company’s HQ in Europe after successful appointment of approx. 1-2 weeks.
