Our client is a long-established printer based in the southern home counties with subsidiary offices in London. This is a well-equipped company with an excellent reputation in the industry.
With retirement on the horizon, the current sales director is looking for someone to βshadowβ him for a year. The purpose of this is to get to know his clients in preparation for taking over his role in the business.
Although a major part of this role will be handling existing accounts, it is important that the successor has an established contact base and can bring new business to the company; ideally in the form of litho or digital print.
Your ultimate goal will be to support long-term growth and the sustainability of our client, devising and implementing the sales strategy, and setting revenue targets and key performance indicators.
Your experience in the printing industry will have allowed you to develop the skill of understanding and interpreting client requirements and translating into actions. You will be tuned into client perspective, building credible and trusting relationships at all levels.
As the future head of the sales team, you must be highly professional, and make positive first and subsequent impressions. We are looking for a natural, inspiring and motivating leader who can adapt their approach to work with diverse teams.
