Our client requires a confident and professional Account Manager with strong print production experience and excellent account handling skills. Exposure to print management is essential; a personable manner with clients is required. You will work closely with warehouses regarding printed stock items, so an understanding of stock management systems and warehousing functions is an advantage. Candidates must be resident in the UK and have experience in the print, packaging, or paper sectors.
Desired Skills and Experience- First class technical knowledge of print production, including an extensive knowledge of materials, their uses, and their limitations.
- Experienced in various production methods: litho, digital, small and large format, web, dye sublimation, UV printing, and more bespoke printing methods.
- Thorough working knowledge of brand management procedures.
- Some knowledge of colour management systems and ISO printing standards; ability to press pass work on behalf of clients.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers on a daily basis.
- Sound knowledge of online web-to-print solutions and understanding of their operation.
- Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritise work and client requirements.
- Thorough understanding of the creative process and capability to develop briefs suited to budget, time constraints, and client creative vision.
- Hands-on experience of warehousing processes, including effective stock management control and pick and pack procedures.
