Our client partners with some of the world’s most recognisable brands, helping them transform the way they connect with customers through intelligent, high-impact print and mailing campaigns. Combining creativity, innovation and operational excellence, they deliver tailored marketing solutions that maximise both engagement and budget performance. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Estimator with excellent print knowledge to join their commercial team.

You will be expected to create estimates in a timely fashion and provide technical and sales assistance to Internal and External Account Managers, responding to emailed or telephone enquiries in a pro-active manner. You will be required to assist in outsourcing any specialist printing or finishing that cannot be fulfilled in-house.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with sales representatives and customers to fully understand their requirements
  • Providing estimates using agreed production routes, pricing and selling rates whilst optimising the return for the Company
  • Suggesting alternatives to specifications and production methods when beneficial to Customer and Company
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Engage with efforts to improve the Commercials and Processes in the MIS system
  • Triage items in the estimating inbox, to ensure a timely response to all enquiries
  • Work to ensure KPI levels (based on Monthly KPI reports) are within the agreed levels
Skills & Experience Required
  • A detailed understanding of print
  • Experience of producing estimates
  • IT literate and numerate
  • Good organiser, able to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work under own initiative
  • Effective communicator over the telephone, video call, in person and in writing
