We have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Print Procurement Specialist to join a company who are a leader in their sector. They work with some of the biggest brands in the world to produce exciting and dynamic campaigns that deliver amazing results.

The primary accountability of the role is to set the strategy and deliver all print material procurement requirements, including displays, print procurement and POS. The Head of Print Procurement will convert innovative design into a premium paper product ensuring cost effective solutions are delivered without compromising on quality or delivery dates.

Key roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting the delivery for the procurement of all print and paper services, collaborating with the necessary departments specifically Sourcing and Marketing to understand the short and long-term business requirements.
  • Identify, negotiate and agree terms with all supply partners, building a robust network with a broad range of production capabilities covering relevant markets and preparing for areas of growth also.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of external contacts within the marketplace who can provide additional creativity and technical skills to the organisation.
  • Responsible for the end to end delivery of the print procurement function, commencing with the brief creation from Marketing, Sourcing and Brand Management through to project management and execution.
  • Work closely across the business presenting clear and concise strategy and delivery plans, including cost projections.
  • Production of innovative displays and all point of sale print material.
  • End to end purchasing of print materials for the Group.

Candidates must have proven demonstrable experience of procuring print in a commercial global environment, well networked within the industry, and able to draw upon a wealth of extended experience and knowledge. We are looking for star candidates capable of influencing and negotiating with suppliers and key contacts. Those who stand out will demonstrate an ability to work with people from all cultures and backgrounds.

  • Team Management; an experienced Line Manager with the ability to drive performance within the team.
  • Highly skilled in both written and oral communication.
  • A high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Attention to detail.
