Responsibilities
- To install, repair and maintain the company’s products to a specified standard and to carry out customer training when required in order to provide the highest level of service to our customers.
- Key activities include ensuring the customer receives exceptional service in a high paced environment and representing the company with a professional and committed attitude.
- Daily activities are:
- Respond to call outs in a timely and professional manner, identify and resolve technical faults.
- Provide advice and training to customers when required.
- Undertake relevant training as directed, which may include computer based training.
- Undertake all repairs in a safe manner and in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and Health and Safety legislation.
- Complete all necessary reporting requirements and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Effectively use technology tools such as PDA and laptop.
- Maintain car stock to required standards.
- Support other engineers as necessary.
- Build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with Technical Specialists, Service Managers, Work Controllers, Sales and any relevant department within the Company.
- Build and maintain professional, confident and friendly relationships with customers and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Proven background in field service engineering with a logical approach to problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills working within a team.
- The ability to work alone but also be part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high degree of computer literacy.
- Full UK driving licence.
