A highly innovative printing company is looking for a Commercial Manager to be responsible for leading and executing commercial strategies to drive business performance and profitability. You will collaborate closely with various departments including sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure the successful implementation of commercial initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a proven track record of delivering results in a commercial environment.
The Role
- Support client conversations as and when required.
- Oversee estimating department and all activity in relationship to pricing with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Develop an auditable robust procurement process.
- Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance.
- Ensure that goods are purchased in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement.
- Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships.
- Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers.
- Risk Management: Identify potential commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests. Monitor market dynamics, regulatory changes, and other external factors that may impact commercial operations.
- Manage postage and logistic partners.
- Support governance of the good in and stock management processes.
