We’re working with a well-established and growing print and communications provider looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to focus on winning major private sector contracts. This is a senior, new business role suited to someone who is comfortable operating in longer sales cycles and developing complex, multi-year solutions. The successful candidate will be targeting opportunities typically in the £5m–£10m+ range, working closely with internal bid, operational and technical teams to shape and secure strategic deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the private sector, targeting large enterprise organisations
- Lead complex, solution-led sales processes from initial engagement through to contract award
- Engage with procurement, marketing, operations and executive stakeholders to understand business challenges and requirements
- Develop tailored print and print management solutions aligned to client needs
- Maintain and manage a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities
- Collaborate closely with internal bid, production and service delivery teams
- Manage commercial negotiations and support contract finalisation
- Track market trends and identify strategic target accounts

- Proven track record in print or print management
- Experience winning large-scale, multi-year contracts (£5m+) within the private sector
- Strong consultative, solution-led sales approach
