Overview
We have a great opportunity for a positive team player with a can-do attitude to join a well-established, highly reputable manufacturing company. They are looking to appoint a fully qualified and experienced 5 colour litho printer to join their print room team on a 6 month FTC.
Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum potential output and quality is achieved, including setup and permanent adjustment of colour.
- Maintenance of equipment to the highest level for optimum performance and working areas are kept tidy.
- Health & Safety legislations are met and Company’s standards are adhered to.
- Work with the print room to continuously improve process efficiency, eliminating unnecessary costs from the business and keeping waste to a minimum.
- Communicate maintenance/breakdown requirements to service personnel/Production Manager.
- Liaise with Production Manager, team members and Dept Managers as required.
- Active involvement in staff training and development as required.
Qualifications
- Experience on a Heidelberg Press and print finishing experience/knowledge.
- Fully qualified and experienced 5 colour litho printer.
Additional information
Lead times can often be highly demanding, therefore you must also be able to prioritise tasks and think logically and methodically. You must be able to work well in a team, communicate efficiently with peers and be willing to work in all areas of the print room as and when necessary. Candidates must be flexible and available to work occasional weekends and/or a shift system when required by production demand.
