Our client is a leading provider of innovative products and services for healthcare professionals worldwide. Due to an overflow of work in their plant which provides breakthrough clinical products, they have a vacancy for a Labelling Specialist in the Packaging department. This is a 6-month full time role working 37 hours per week.
This is a company which prides itself in achieving outstanding solutions, therefore is looking for a meticulous, hard-working individual with a keen eye to detail, keeping to the highest of standards and quality checking procedures throughout. Lead times can often be highly demanding, therefore you must also be able to prioritise tasks and think logically and methodically. You must be able to work well in a team and communicate efficiently with peers.
The main duties of the role include:
- Lead on labelling improvements, printing, technology, regulations, and training
- Manage change control forms for projects including IT change controls
- Take responsibility for and manage projects providing appropriate level of support
- Generate or change graphics and text in the labelling system and co-ordinate approval
- Generate, or change, and organize approval of department documents (including Artwork) and files and all relevant approval forms
- Co-ordinate with outside contractors for the translation of text and the creation of graphics
- Maintaining department documents
- Non-inventory purchasing
- Comply with site Health and Safety procedures
Additional skills/abilities:
- Preferably GCSE or equivalent in English / mathematics
- Preferably previous experience of administration
- Strong PC skills
- Ability to develop skills in graphics arena
