The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of key clients, ensuring projects are delivered smoothly from enquiry through to completion while identifying opportunities to maximise account spend and customer retention.
The Role
As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key customer accounts while delivering outstanding service throughout the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with internal production teams and external suppliers to ensure all client requirements are handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management & Quoting
- Act as the main point of contact for allocated customer accounts
- Understand client requirements and provide accurate, competitive quotations
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services
- Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to gather pricing and production information
- Quote Follow‑Up
- Proactively follow up quotations within agreed timeframes
- Track quote outcomes and gather feedback on unsuccessful opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting activity
- Account Development
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships
- Conduct regular account review and development calls
- Use CRM systems to manage communication and pipeline activity
- Provide technical guidance across the company’s print and production services
- Order Processing & Project Coordination
- Process orders accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and delivery
- Manage artwork approval processes and ensure projects move into production on time
- Customer Retention & Growth
- Re‑engage lapsed customers and identify reasons for reduced spend
- Develop opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Promote the full range of print and production services available
- Problem Resolution
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally

Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within the print, graphics, or print management industry
- Strong understanding of print production processes, materials, and finishing methods
- Experience managing customer accounts in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify growth opportunities
- Experience using CRM systems, quotation platforms, and MIS systems
- Positive, proactive, and solution‑focused approach
