We are looking for a high calibre account exec who will be an integral and pro‑active member of the sales department, providing first class administration support and back‑up for their designated account team.
The role includes:
- Working in conjunction with your account team to develop a thorough understanding of your customers’ needs to ensure their requirements are met and they receive the customer service as detailed in their specific Service Level Agreement.
- Responding to customers and suppliers queries in a timely and effective manner.
- Receiving quote requests from the customer and providing accurate and detailed responses within the target response time.
- Confirming, monitoring and progressing orders to ensure all work is delivered within schedule, budget and quality standards.
- Managing the production board for your account team, ensuring it is always up to date and contains the correct information.
- Managing the website imagery for your account team.
- Managing call‑offs to ensure delivery as requested.
- Ensuring that customers' stock stored and produced is pro‑actively monitored and that stock levels are maintained to a sufficient quantity to meet the agreed customers’ requirements.
- Making arrangements for customers to receive specified reports as and when required.
- Successfully purchasing stock – the price, quality and availability of which meet the requirements confirmed by the customer.
- Obtaining and comparing quotes from our preferred suppliers, clearly recognising commercially viable prices that will result in maximum profit.
- Monitoring the progress of orders to ensure they arrive with the customer on or earlier than the delivery date originally agreed.
- Managing artwork and proof submission and approval between the supplier and the client.
The applicant should have:
- A good degree of commercial awareness.
- A good understanding of print production equipment and process capabilities.
- A good understanding of quality standards as they relate to production procedures and processes.
- An understanding of the critical importance of specific quality and service criteria within the finished product.
- An understanding of relevant administrative procedures and documentation and how they relate to customer and function.
