Our Client is an established and highly profitable £multi million Manufacturer of Consumables for the Printing Industry.
They offer an excellent working environment and are situated in a rural environment close to the rail network.
With c.50 employees they have 25 plus PCs, 10 plus Printers and Scanners and a high-end IT setup.

Help support all IT related aspects of the business.
Job Description.
The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s IT equipment including networks, servers, desktop computers and related hardware, telephones, software and services ensuring both business continuity by resolving day to day issues and recommending and implementing ongoing improvements.
Main Duties of the IT Administrator.
Ensure that the company’s IT equipment is operational on a day to day basis.
Create, modify and remove user, email and skype accounts as well as implement security policies as and when required.
Install and configure desktop computers and related hardware and assist in the relocation of IT equipment.
Investigate and resolve any issues relating to users, desktop computers, printers, scanners, software or similar hardware and software.
Investigate and resolve any issues relating to servers, networks and internet connections including liaising with Internet Service Providers (ISP) and suppliers when necessary.
Ensure IT system backups completed and backup taken off site each day.
Provide support and IT assistance for local and remote users including re-installing software and resetting passwords.
Monitor internet and email usage in line with company policy and advise of any discrepancies.
Contribute to procurement of new and replacement IT equipment.
Have a good working knowledge of Activate Directory (AD) administration within Windows Server 2008 domains.
Provide support of Windows 7, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office products.
Maintain and update software updates on servers, desktop computers on a regular basis.
Maintain and update the company’s chosen computer database system as well as creating, modifying and updating database reports for export into Adobe Acrobat PDF and Microsoft Excel formats.
Manage the companies domain names
Support the development and updating of the company’s website.
Develop and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) using within the IT department.
Maintain working environment & ancillary support operations.
Other administration duties as required.
Any other duties assigned by a Director.
