They are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Administrator / Account Manager to look after a range of existing customer accounts. Typical clients include marketing departments of public and private sector organisations with regular and wide-ranging requirements, primarily printed and promotional products.
Role Objectives and Responsibilities- To be a key member of the internal sales team working on a range of customer accounts principally dealing with printed and promotional products, with key objectives as follows:
- Taking enquiries from customers, making sure requirements are understood and proposing/discussing solutions.
- Preparing and sending quotations, following up as required to secure the order.
- Liaising with design studio regarding artwork/visuals and managing the proofing process with clients.
- Processing orders and managing through production ensuring that promised delivery dates are met.
- Establish and maintain a strong ‘trusted advisor’ relationship with clients, helping them to achieve their goals by providing solutions to their needs.
- Ensure all customer queries are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner.
- Meet sales targets by maximising all enquiries and opportunities for cross-selling or up-selling.
- Ensure correct, on-time delivery for clients on every order.
- Ensure that margins are maintained to agreed levels.
- Have a positive can-do approach to the client, always ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following characteristics:
- Positive, proactive, and punctual.
- Clear thinker with good communication skills and organising ability.
- Able to build good relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Accuracy and keen attention to detail (a perfectionist streak!).
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Good IT skills including MS Office.
- At least 2 years’ relevant industry experience.
This office based role is for a 40-hour week Monday – Friday with some flexibility for hours within the 7.30am – 5pm window.
