Our client is a large format printer that specialises in providing visual communications to a variety of sectors from high end retail to sporting events and local businesses. This is a great opportunity to join a team of dedicated, knowledgeable and client focused people who aspire to make a difference every day, valuing the long-term partnerships with clients and suppliers.

The objective of this role as Installations Manager is to manage the smooth running of the fitting and Installations department with responsibility for small team of fitters, and be first point of contact for ad-hoc sub-contractors. This is perfect for someone who is experienced with sign and graphic installation in an often fast paced, fast turnaround large print format environment.

Core Management Duties

  • To lead by example and role model respectful and professional behaviour in the workplace.
  • To support, delegate and manage fitting and installation employees and sub-contractors.
  • To coach, train and instruct less experienced members of the team.
  • To display a positive ‘can do’ attitude and aim to deliver exceptional service.
  • To build and develop excellent working relationships with all teams to ensure there is a two-way flow of information ensuring collaborative working to deliver for the client.
  • To work closely with the Production Planning Manager using initiative and take ownership for issues within your own department before escalating matters to senior management.
