A well established printing company is looking for an experienced HP Indigo Operator to join its busy department on nights, playing a significant role in the expansion of recently introduced Indigo technology.
In this role you will be undertaking hands-on production, including cutting, folding, stitching and binding.
A proven track record at the highest level, with a user certification to Level 2, is expected of all applicants. You must be a highly self-motivated individual who takes a flexible approach to managing workloads and demands and ensuring detailed attention is paid to all work.
You will be responsible for reviewing all proofs and final product samples produced on the digital equipment before releasing to internal or external customers, you will possess excellent colour vision and understanding for digitally manipulating colour calibration set-up to meet expectations for colour targets.
You will be used to conducting regular and special maintenance on equipment to achieve maximum machine performance.
Comfortable working effectively as part of a team and also using your own initiative, you must demonstrate flexibility in being able to operate different equipment and undertake a willingness to learn new processes and methods of working.
Enthusiasm and a high level of focus are essential. The work will be fast paced and we expect the successful candidate to rise to this challenge.
