- Management of the Development, Infrastructure and Implementation Team
- Budget Planning and Revenue Management
Specific Responsibilities of the Job:
- Lead and manage the client’s capability to ensure robust system stability and development of a fit‑for‑purpose support strategy
- Monitor and report on performance and progress against the IT strategy and operational performance, producing monthly performance reports to various boards
- Plan, organise, and manage operations and employees to ensure stable operation and resilience of the organisation’s IT infrastructure
- Ensure delivery of the design, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of the network, server, telephony and desktop infrastructures
- Lead the team to ensure excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Lead the budget‑setting process for IT and ensure financial implications are considered for all initiatives
- Provide expertise in development methodology and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/regulations at all times
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent team management and leadership skills with experience of managing a department of at least circa 30 staff
- Significant vendor and supplier management experience
- Excellent analytical, numerate skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise and work to tight timelines
- Effective decision‑making capability
- Advantageous if applicants have a Software Development background
