Due to impending retirement, they have a rarely available opportunity for someone with the aptitude to take the company’s production capabilities forward in the next decade and beyond.

Responsible for planning, directing and managing daily operational activity, your role as Operations Manager will work to achieve operating goals and objectives consistent with company objectives. You will evaluate current and proposed systems and procedures and recommend change when necessary and assist in implementing new processes. In the fast paced environment in which our client operates, they are dependent on employees to bring diverse knowledge and perspectives to the table every single day. They are looking for an Operations Manager who will be able to use knowledge and experience to provide coaching, mentoring and professional development to achieve such goals.

Operational Management requires a methodically minded, professional, possessing sound commercial acumen and a passion that thrives on the responsibility associated with being a leader. You will have demonstrable experience in managing & developing a broadly skilled team, shaping, guiding & enhancing operational effectiveness to achieve maximum output and profit. You will focus on disciplinary procedures, employee relations, absence policies, reducing lateness, and ensuring staff are incentivised where appropriate.

We are looking for someone who can make a real impact within the organisation. You must have the ability to command respect from all divisions of the business. Success in the first couple of years in this role will lead to development into directorship.

Candidates must have corrugated packaging experience.
