Job Title: Graduate Packaging Technologist – Cambridgeshire

Salary: £17,423 + benefits

12 month fixed term contract.

Salary would be a graduate starting salary of £17,425. This would rise by £1000 after 6 months.

– Creating and maintaining packaging specifications for both componentry and the manufacturing process.
– Arranging ink matching and colour matching of components.
– New line forms
– Sampling of components and arranging testing.
– Attending risk analysis, pre-production meetings and weekly NPD meetings.
– Working to tight deadlines on critical paths, reporting to Product Manager on any concerns and general progress.
– Collating information from suppliers on REACh, Packaging Regulations and customer specific requirements.
– Working closely with both external and internal contacts to develop product ranges.
– Assisting with customer sealing process (development seal, pre-production seal, etc)
