An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Director to join one of the UK’s largest Print Management companies who offer services covering all aspects of the industry. The role of the Business Development Director is a senior position and will be primarily responsible for business growth within a cluster of named existing client accounts, and for the right candidate could lead to a board appointment.

This is a full cycle sales role so we are looking for experience of all aspects of sales from research and initial contact through fact find, presentation, close and follow up. You will have the full support of the company however ultimately you must still be very self-reliant. Your experience will include:

  • Personally demonstrated prescriptive solution selling experience, including developing account strategies, providing strong leadership and hands-on participation in strategic engagements.
  • Customer Management solution sales experience with a proven record of regularly exceeding challenging growth targets.
  • Experience growing accounts with large projects pursuits.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and maintain strong, trusting relationships with both technical and line of business executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams through influence while also functioning as an individual contributor / team member.
  • Excellent executive presence with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.
